{"id":39665,"date":"2024-11-18T19:19:39","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T00:19:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/?p=39665"},"modified":"2024-11-18T19:20:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T00:20:58","slug":"vct-game-changers-championship-smashes-2023-viewership-stats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/vct-game-changers-championship-smashes-2023-viewership-stats\/","title":{"rendered":"VCT Game Changers Championship smashes 2023 viewership stats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VALORANT Champions Tour (<a href=\"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/valorant\/champions-tour\/\">VCT<\/a>) Game Changers Championship 2024, which concluded on Sunday in Los Angeles, became the second-most-watched female esports event of all time, attracting over 460,000 peak viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2022 as a tournament series for women and marginalised genders, the VCT Game Changers has become an integral part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/valorant\/\">VALORANT esports<\/a> ecosystem over the last two years. <\/p>\n<p>Averaging 122,955 viewers, 6,250,197 hours watched, and 460,297 peak viewers, the world championship nearly doubled last year&#8217;s record of 293,993 peak viewers and became the eighth-most-watched VALORANT event of the season.<\/p>\n<p>It attracted a bigger audience than VCT 2024 Americas Stage 2 (394,975), the TEN Valorant Asia Invitational 2024 (57,856), VCT 2024 Ascension Pacific (226,683) and Americas (159,409), and the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff (419,206).<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Game Changers Championship only trails the women&#8217;s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament at the 32nd SEA Games, which concluded in May 2023 and drew in 1.3 million watchers at its peak.<\/p>\n<p>The VCT tournament took place at Riot Games Arena from November 8-17 and welcomed 10 VALORANT esports teams from EMEA, North America, Pacific, Brazil, Pacific, and Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 ended with a grand final between Shopify Rebellion and MiBR GC, with the former sweeping the series in three maps to defend their title.<\/p>\n<p>The grand final was the most-watched match of the tournament, ahead of the lower-bracket final spectacle between G2 Gozen and MiBR GC, which peaked at 274,209 viewers.<\/p>\n<div class=\" embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/VCTGameChangers?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#VCTGameChangers<\/a> Championship 2024 &#8211;
