The League of Legends<\/a> Pro League (LPL) Spring 2023 Playoffs are now well and truly underway, with no.1 seed JD Gaming meeting no.5 seed Bilibili Gaming this Wednesday in the fourth round. <\/p>\n

JD Gaming finished the LPL<\/a> Spring 2023 regular season with a 13-3 record and a map difference of +20, whereas Bilibili Gaming went 10-6 with a +8 map differential. Both teams enter this upper-bracket semifinal in excellent form, having won seven of their last eight series, including BLG’s last two playoff victories.<\/p>\n

After finishing third-fourth in the 2022 LoL World Championship<\/a>, JD Gaming entered the LPL Spring split as the outright favourite with esports betting sites. After starting slowly with their new-look roster, JDG soon found their groove with off-season signings Zhou “knight” Ding and Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk starring. Ruler topped the charts with a massive 9.0 KDA ahead of knight, who ranked equal-second in the league with a respectable 6.3 KDA. There is no doubt that those two will play a prominent role in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Bilibili Gaming entered the 2023 LPL Spring split with four brand-new members, with Chen \u201cBin\u201d Zebin the sole player who remained with the team after the 2022 season. With the new additions to the roster, BLG struggled to start the group stage, with some inconsistent performances leaving them in the mid-table battle for most of the regular season. However, they were able to jump from ninth place at the end of Week 7 to fifth place at the end of Week 10, thanks to a run of five wins from six games to finish the group stage.<\/p>\n

In Week 1, JDG defeated BLG 2-1 in a close series, with the third map lasting nearly 48 minutes – one of the longest games for the entire group stage. JD Gaming have been the best team in the LPL Spring split, and we expect them to make it all the way to the grand final, so we will back them to win this series over Bilibili Gaming.<\/p>\n
