\u2028The VALORANT<\/a> Champions Tour 2021 North America Last Chance Qualifier continues on Thursday, October 28, with a lower-bracket clash between Gen.G and Luminosity. <\/p>\n

These two teams should have met at the start of the month, but after two FaZe Clan players tested positive to COVID-19, the whole tournament transitioned to an online format. That likely won’t affect the players, but it does mean that the teams have been out of action for two weeks.<\/p>\n

There would have been a certain amount of ring rust for this bout regardless, seeing how Gen.G have played only one game this month (1-2 against 100 Thieves), which was their first official match since July. Luminosity played three games in August but have since only appeared in one \u2013 a 1-2 loss against XSET on October 12.<\/p>\n

This match could go either way, and while Gen.G might look stronger on paper, we don’t see how they can produce a clean sweep given their weak map pool. Gen.G have dropped at least a map in all but one of their last nine outings, and we don’t expect that to change.<\/p>\n
