tiziaN was placed on Big’s inactive roster in August 2022; now, after almost a year on the bench, the organiaation has officially parted ways with the player.

“From rocking the LANXESS to reaching the top of the rankings, we did it together. Today our ways part with @tizianCS as he sets out on a new adventure. Thank you for the past five years, Tizi!,” BIG wrote.

After his move to the bench last year, tiziaN took to Twitter on March 5, 2023, to announce that he was open to new offers. As of now, the player is yet to find a new home away from BIG.

“I am looking for a new home as BIG has allowed me to explore options. am flexible in my role as I would do IGL/Support. I haven’t felt this good in years and I am buzzing about what the future holds,” the player wrote at the time.

tiziaN joined BIG in February 2018 and was a part of the active lineup for four years. The player initially transferred from ALTERNATE aTTaX and, at the time, broke the record for the highest transfer fee for a German player.

tiziaN was part of BIG’s best years when the team, which included Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz, Nikola “LEGIJA” Nini?, and Fatih “gob b” Dayik, won multiple events. They claimed first-place finishes in the ESEA MDL Season 27 Europe Finals and the Global Challenge.

BIG also placed runner-up in the Extreme Sports League One Cologne 2018 after losing to Natus Vincere in the grand finals. The team faced some difficulty reaching similar results over the next two years but maintained their top 10 position throughout 2019-2020.

BIG won their next trophy in January 2020, when they took home the Dreamhack Open Leipzig. The squad performed equally well in online events, toppling teams in the CS_Summit 6 Europe, DreamHack Open Summer 2020 Europe, and the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe.

Despite their success, BIG failed to break into the Major Champions stage. Following their inability to qualify for the 2021 and 2022 Major, the team began a round of roster changes.

tiziaN was placed on the inactive lineup, and Nils “?k1to?” Gruhne was brought in to take on his role. The player remained on the bench for almost a year but was occasionally fielded in the BIG Academy lineup for events like the BetBoom Playlist Freedom 2023 and WePlay Academy League Season 6.

BIG are currently undergoing a transitional period with the signing of Polish player Mateusz “?mantuu?” Wilczewski. The team, which consists of a mostly German lineup, announced they would use English as their primary language during events for better communication.

BIG also recently moved Elias “?s1n?” Stein and David “?prosus?” Hesse from the academy roster. The duo will join Johannes “?tabseN?” Wodarz and Karim “?Krimbo?” Moussaon the main team.
