Mantuu is parting ways with the team after being on their inactive roster since July 2022. The 25-year-old AWper said he will be focusing on streaming for now until he finds a new CS:GO team to join.

The AWper has been on the CS:GO scene since 2015, and he has represented a handful of teams while gathering useful skill sets and making improvements to every new squad he assembles. The player has represented teams like n0_0rg, ALTERNATE aTTaX, Entropy Gaming, PANTHERS Gaming, and OG, which he joined on December 4, 2019.

He spent his time in OG participating in tournaments like the 2020 BLAST Premier: Fall Regulars Season, where they emerged with a top spot finish in first-third place. The team slot replicated the same success in 2021 Intel Extreme Masters XVI—Summer, where they came close to emerging as the winners but ended up having a second-place finish. Early last year, the team came out on top at the 2022 Blast Premier: Spring Groups, garnering a first- or second-place finish. Without a doubt, mantuu will be cloning this gameplay that has led to team success on his potential new team.

Currently, it is unknown as to what new team the player will be joining or if he is already in negotiations with another esports outfit. However, on hearing the news that mantuu is now a free agent, CS:GO fans have suggested that Evil Geniuses sign the player. This is because the North American team parted ways with their Bulgarian AWper player, Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, on Thursday.

It is likely that Evil Geniuses might heed the advice of fans and move the Polish player to North America. While the team is yet to make an official announcement on which player will be replacing CeRq, it is possible that fans’ eagerness will meet an end in the following weeks when the team publishes an update on the current situation.

OG’s active CS:GO roster now consists of the Israeli rifler Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, Serbian in-game leader Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic, 21-year-old rifler Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar, Polish rifler Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, super star Russian AWper Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, and their Denmark head coach Casper “ruggah” Due. The team also had Denmark rifler Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen on their inactive roster since May 25, 2022.
