The organization shared an announcement video to inform fans of the decision, with the caption: Were back! Time for CS.

Anonymos newly acquired CS:GO head coach, Vincent “VinS” Jozefjak, also took to social media to announce that they were now a part of the organization.

I’m happy to announce that we’re joining @AnonymoEsports. Well, it’s a giant brand in Poland, and as a football fan, being in the organization with Karol Linetty, Tymek Puchacz, and Jan Bednarek is pure pleasure, the translation to the post read.

The former HONORIS players have been free agents since the organization closed towards the end of March this year. The CS:GO team was founded in 2020 by Filip “?NEO?” Kubski and Wiktor “?TaZ?” Wojtas shortly after they left Virtus.Pro.

When announcing their decision to shut down HONORIS, the duo revealed that the organization was facing significant financial challenges. TaZ admitted that they had been funding the entire operation from their own pockets for three years and could not keep up anymore.

Since they shut down operations, the former HONORIS squad had been competing independently and without a tag. The players were also recently joined by Bartek “mASKED” Trybu?a.

Anonymo disbanded their previous CS:GO lineup in February this year after failing to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR. The players cited not qualifying for the event as their reason for leaving the team.

The organization’s new CS:GO lineup is made up of mASKED, Kamil “reiko” Cegie?ko, Kamil “Sobol” Sobolewski, Dawid “SaMey” Staczak and Dawid “lunAtic” Cie?lak with VinS as head coach.

Anonymo will debut their new lineup at the Y-Games PRO Series 2023. The team will also compete in the CCT South Europe Series 4 playoffs during that period.

HONORIS disbands due to financial issues https://www.grivaschess.com/honoris-disbands-due-to-financial-issues/ https://www.grivaschess.com/honoris-disbands-due-to-financial-issues/#respond Wed, 29 Mar 2023 16:27:24 +0000 https://www.grivaschess.com/?p=29335 On Wednesday, Polish esports organization HONORIS announced that they were officially ceasing activities and disbanding their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

The club’s founders, Filip “NEO” Kubski and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, released a joint statement citing financial difficulties as the reason for the decision. Since HONORIS were founded in 2020, the duo has reportedly funded the organization with their personal funds.

In the statement, the co-founders said, “For three years, we’ve been holding it together financially. In HONORIS, no coconuts were earned, but the players and associates always received their salaries on time and could count on the organization’s support.”

They added that faced with the lack of financial resources in the next few years; they decided to conclude HONORIS’ esports operations. TaZ also revealed that the roster’s disappointing result contributed to the decision. Rather than their expected #30 in the world ranking, HONORIS only managed to peak at #43 after three years in operation.

The statement disclosed that the CS:GO coach and players would be released into free agency by the end of the month and allowed to join other teams. They did not reveal whether the players would continue competing on the lineup within this period or search for new teams independently.

“We hope that we have effectively shared our experience and helped develop the talents of several young players whose careers are now open,” said NEO.

“We have also shown that it is possible to build an organization operating on the principles of fair play – both publicly and internally.”

The HONORIS co-founders promised to inform fans “individually” about any future plans. The most recent players on the lineup include TaZ, Kamil “?reiko?” Cegie?ko, Dawid “?SaMey?” Staczak, Dawid “?lunAtic?” Cie?lak, Kamil “?Sobol?” Sobolewski with NEO as a substitute. Vincent “?vinS?” Jozefiak was the team coach.

TaZ and NEO founded HONORIS following their departure from Virtus. pro’s roster. Shortly after they left, TaZ revealed that he still wanted to compete but on his own terms and “long-term vision.”

HONORIS featured several Polish gamers during their time in operation; however, TaZ and Kamil “?reiko?” Cegie?ko were the only constants during those three years. The team notably won the ESEA Cash Cups and reached the ESL Polish Championship finals several times, securing their place as a two-tier squad.

HONORIS faced difficulty scoring more achievements and failed to qualify for top-tier LAN events regularly. The team’s most notable tournament was the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals, where they were placed last alongside Sprout.

HONORIS, 9INE, HEET and Monte head to IEM Brazil Closed Qualifier https://www.grivaschess.com/honoris-9ine-heet-and-monte-head-to-iem-brazil-closed-qualifier/ https://www.grivaschess.com/honoris-9ine-heet-and-monte-head-to-iem-brazil-closed-qualifier/#respond Thu, 02 Feb 2023 05:22:05 +0000 https://www.grivaschess.com/?p=27916 The IEM Brazil Closed Qualifier is set to be an exciting event, with European teams HONORIS, 9INE, HEET, and Monte confirmed to compete in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.

One of the standout teams is HONORIS, led by the legendary Polish figure Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas. TaZ has been absent from major LAN events since ESL Pro League Season 10 in 2019 and is now on the hunt for his first significant LAN appearance in years.

In the closed qualifier, HONORIS faced off against Falcons, pitting TaZ against former opponents Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub. Despite facing tough competition, HONORIS emerged victorious and will now be moving on to the qualification match.

In the IEM Brazil Europe closed qualifier, top-30 teams such as GamerLegion, 500, Eternal Fire, and Copenhagen Flames were eliminated from the competition. GamerLegion, in particular, was a standout casualty as they were defeated 5-16 by the Falcons in the round of 16. Other notable losses include 500 losing to SINNERS, Eternal Fire falling to VOYVODA, and Copenhagen Flames being ousted by 9INE.

Monte and HEET emerged victorious from the first open qualifier in Europe and secured their spots in the closed qualifier. Despite facing off against higher-ranked teams, both teams were able to come out on top and secure their place in the next round of competition. Monte had a relatively easier road, with their toughest match coming in the round of 16 where they overpowered HAVU.

HEET, on the other hand, encountered tough competition from the highly ranked teams Apeks and Eternal Fire. Despite recently undergoing a roster change with the departures of Aurelien “afro” Drapier and Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro, HEET managed to come out on top.

While the Europe closed qualifier is set, there are still spots up for grabs for the South American and North American regions. In North America, Complexity, paiN, and Vendetta have already been confirmed, while 9z, 00NATION, and O PLANO are set to compete in South America.

The final team lists and dates for the remaining closed qualifiers are as follows:

Europe, February 8-10: ENCE, BIG, Bad News Eagles, Sprout, Monte, HEET, 9INE, and HONORIS.

North America, February 15-16: Complexity, paiN, Vendetta, and the winner of NA Open Qualifier 2.

South America, February 15-16: 9z, 00NATION, O PLANO, and the winner of SA Open Qualifier 2.

With four teams left to be found for IEM Brazil, the competition is expected to be intense as each team strives to earn a spot in the final event.

These two teams will lock horns on Wednesday for the first time since Izako Boars edged past Illuminar Gaming with 16-14 and 16-12 back in March. Boars have since looked improved – up until last week, when they hit a slump.

Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski are 1-5 in their last six outings, including losses to AGO, Team Fiend (twice), MAD Lions, and PACT. Illuminar have hardly looked any better, winning only two out of their last five outings, although they were on a 5-2 run just a couple of weeks back.

Prior to their solid showing in the Flashpoint 3: Open Qualifiers, Illuminar were 1-15 from late-March into mid-April. That horror run led the organisation to seek top-to-bottom replacements for the current roster, who will continue playing under the IG banner for a while longer.

There is not a lot to set these two sides apart quality-wise, so we cant expect a one-sided affair. Although some might question Illuminars motivation to perform given the situation theyre in, we don’t quite agree with that narrative.

PACT are 7-3 in their last 10, which would appear to indicate good form, but they haven’t really beaten any strong teams. The only notable result in that run is a 16-13 win over Wisla Krakow, but PACT lost the rematch 11-16.

While we aren’t too excited about PACT, its even harder to be hopeful about HONORIS, who are 4-6 in their last 10 outings. Even though Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas and co. have had to face tougher opponents, that doesn’t mean much if you fail to get anywhere near those stronger teams.

HONORIS seem like a failed project that will never blossom into something meaningful. They might have a couple of Counter-Strike legends on the team, but this squad just isn’t good enough to win anything outside of Tier-3 tournaments. PACT’s form isn’t great, but they’re a better team overall.

HAVU vs HONORIS LOOT.BET/CS Season 7 BETTING PREVIEW

HAVU Gaming and HONORIS will meet for the first time in history this Thursday in the final fixture of Round 3 Mid Matches at LOOT.BET/CS Season 7.

HAVU enter this clash placed seventh in the LOOT.BET/CS Season 7 standings. They lost their opening fixture of the tournament against Gambit Youngsters and won their second against Wisla Krakow last Wednesday.

Eetu “sAw” Saha and his crew recently concluded their runs through the ESL Pro League Season 12: European Qualifier, Rainmaker Open and #HomeSweetHome: Week 7 with varying degrees of success. The Finnish squad won the Rainmaker Open, but they finished ninth-12th at #HomeSweetHome: Week 7 and fifth-sixth at the ESL Pro League Season 12: European Qualifier. In late May, HAVU also won BLAST Rising, a month after claiming a top-three finish at the inaugural season of FLASHPOINT.

Overall, HAVU have produced solid results in 2020 and it seems like the online format suits them. While they left a lot to be desired in the last two editions of #HomeSweetHome, they defeated OG and North last week in ESL Pro League S12 qualifying.

HONORIS are a newly established Polish squad built around two Counter-Strike esports veterans in Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas and Filip “NEO” Kubski, who teamed up with Daniel “STOMP” P?omiski, Kamil “reiko” Cegie?ko and Wojciech “Prism” Zi?ba.

Since the inception of HONORIS in May, they have played only 13 competitive matches and failed to see much success. The Poles have won only 30.8% of their games, which is not all too promising, but they produced solid showings in their 16-6 win over Complexity Gaming at #HomeSweetHome: Week 7 and their 2-0 win against Wisla Krakow at LOOT.BET/CS.

In their last five games, HONORIS defeated Japaleno (16-12) and Copenhagen Flames (2-1) but lost to Illuminar (1-2), Complexity (1-2) and ALTERNATE aTTaX (0-2).

HAVU vs HONORIS LOOT.BET/CS Season 7 BETTING PREDICTIONS

Although this will be the first match between these two sides, it’s not hard to see why HAVU Gaming are priced as massive favourites. Although the Finns have slowed down in recent weeks and don’t look as solid as they did at FLASHPOINT, they are still a level above HONORIS.

Despite their occasional flashes of greatness, the individual performances of HONORIS’ players are not too inspiring. Prism (0.89), TaZ (0.91) and NEO (0.95) are all producing below-average numbers, while STOMP (1.03) and reiko (1.07) are the only two players with positive ratings.

HAVU, meanwhile, boast a 1.04 average rating across all five members. Olli “sLowi” Pitk?nen (1.12) and Lasse “ZOREE” Uronen (1.14) have both been performing well in recent months, but all the eyes will be on Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas after he recorded a massive 1.60 average rating against Wisla Krakow on Wednesday.

HAVU also have much stronger map pool, as they hold better records on Dust II (63% – 33%), Mirage (44% – 40%), Nuke (71% – 29%), Train (77% – 20%) and Overpass (50% – 0%). The only two maps where HONORIS hold an advantage are Inferno (50% – 0%) and Vertigo (60% – 44%), but we can expect HAVU to ban Inferno and they should still edge out a win on Vertigo if HONORIS decide to pick it.

There is not a lot going for HONORIS here. This team is well below the level of HAVU, who should win this match without any issues.
