GG.BET has announced the addition of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament host James Bank as the brand’s newest ambassador.

The online esports betting company took to its Twitter page to announce the addition of the British commentator to its long list of ambassadors.

Welcome to GG.BET, ambassador @BanKsEsports! the announcement tweet read.

Together we’ll make live reports from the world’s biggest arenas. From now on, youll see more Banks in our content and more exclusive esports content in James social media.

Bang-Bang-Banks!

Owing to the partnership, Banks is expected to host exclusive video content for international CS:GO events that will be held over the span of the contract, starting with the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major. The content will include, but is not limited to, live video broadcasts, highlights, and recaps of games or recent events.

Among the types of content to be created are exclusive activities hosted by GG.BET and geared toward their subscribers. The 23-year old will also be tasked with collaborating with other ambassadors of the betting brand to work on joint projects and create promotional materials.

In an Twitter post accepting the offer to be the brand’s ambassador, Banks confirmed to his fans that he had officially joined the brand in the capacity of a brand ambassador.

It’s official, I’ve joined up with @ggbet_en to add to their flaming passion & dedication to esports! Banks wrote.

I accepted the invitation to become a GG.BET ambassador with pride to create content & share my thoughts, predictions and more alongside NAVI and Vitality!

Banks is no new voice to the CS:GO scene, as he has been broadcasting at various Counter-Strike events since 2017. Aside from hosting several Tier 1 tournaments like the BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, he has also functioned in the capacity of an interviewer across different events hosted by BLAST, PGL, and ESL.

Currently, he is working at the IEM Rio Major as a sideline reporter and the team manager for the Kosovar professional CS:GO team, the Bad News Eagles. His first videos out of Rio over the course of the tournament will be published in collaboration with GG.BET as their ambassador.

The Chief Executive Officer of GG.BET, Dmitry Voshkarin, commented on Banks joining the brand’s ambassador family.

James Banks is a big CS:GO fan, Voshkarin said.

He even used to play professionally himself. Banks has had a major influence on the CS:GO community and continues to contribute to its continued growth.

Were all set and ready to support his efforts to help the industry and are delighted to welcome him to the big GG.BET brand ambassador family.

GG.BET had in recent times secured the services of multiple ambassadors to further expand its reach. In August, the brand shared the news of a partnership with Dota 2 commentator Andrew Jenkins. A collaboration with Michael Yossef Torte de Lini Cohen-Palacios, the author of the Dota 2 Heroes Guides, was also announced in October.

The sportsbook is also known to be a regular partner of CS:GO events within the esports community. A partnership deal was brokered between GG.BET and tournament organizer ESL, which saw the betting brand become its official global betting partner. A similar partnership was secured with PGL at the Antwerp Major, which was held in April.

Esports betting provider GG.BET has brought on board Andrew Jenkins, a Dota 2 caster and analyst, to serve as an ambassador and influencer for the brand.

“Im delighted to be an ambassador for a brand that puts so much effort into the growth of esports. GG.BET and I have a lot in common: a genuine love for Dota 2, a desire to create high-quality content, and a huge audience of esports fans,” Jenkins said.

In addition to hosting streams in conjunction with GG.BET on his Twitch channel, Jenkins will collaborate with the bookmaker to produce shows as well as other video content. He will also act as the host of show events and will coordinate competitions with his audience. At the moment, Jenkins boasts a total following of 354,000 fans, dispersed across two thriving YouTube channels in addition to Twitch.

Jenkins is among the most well-known figures in the Dota 2 broadcasting community. He provides insightful commentary and analysis on major esports competitions on a consistent basis and has contributed to the coverage of a wide variety of prestigious events, including The International 2021, ESL One Stockholm 2022, Riyadh Masters 2022, and PGL Major Arlington 2022, amongst others. In addition to this, Jenkins is a working professional player of the video game Dota 2. He goes by the moniker Gremlo and presently competes alongside other on-air Dota 2 hosts, Brian Canavan and Jaron Clintonfor, in the North American team Arkosh Gaming as an offlaner.

Furthermore, GG.BET and Jenkins announced that there would be future activations. On September 8, GG.BET will provide aid for Jenkins’ stream, and fans will have the opportunity to win prizes by accurately forecasting the winner of the Herald replay. Additionally, GG.BET and Jenkins will release the first episode of a brand new program on Twitch that will be named the Secret Immortal show.

A while back GG.BET was given the role of official betting partner for 2022 The International, in addition to securing a significant partnership with Team Vitality. Both of these accomplishments came about comparatively recently. At the beginning of this year, the organization served as the sole betting partner for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 tournament.

The incorporation of Jenkins as an ambassador is most likely intended to fortify their dedication to Dota 2, as well as their dedication to delivering one-of-a-kind experiences to audiences.

“Together, well be able to show a whole new side of Dota, to amaze seasoned veterans and draw in some new blood. Were cooking up a lot of content, including on- and off-line activities. Well be playing Dota 2 together, having a great time, drinking some diet cola, visiting some awesome events, and playing Pudge in mid,” Jekins continued.

As we get closer to The International 2022, GG.BET has increased the amount of commitment they are making in the space and the betting operator aims to be the platform of choice for individuals who want to participate in betting on Dota 2 matches.

The Professional Gamers League (PGL) of Dota 2 has formed a partnership with online bookmaker GG.BET for the event that is considered to be the league’s most important competition, The International (TI).

GG.Bet has been on an incredible rampage recently, securing ties as a betting partner for many big Dota 2 events and signing Team Vitalitys Counter Strike: Global Offensive Team as its international betting partner.

When GG.Bet made the announcement of the collaboration, the company stated that it was glad to provide continuing support to the growth of the esports industry and provide new options for gaming enthusiasts.

The online bookmaker happens to be the tournament’s first official partner for the 2022 edition of The International and also the first betting company to form an alliance with PGL.

“Becoming the first betting partner of the first three stages of this years The International is an incredible opportunity for GG.BET.
“Weve come a long way with PGL and are delighted to take our collaboration to the next level. We will continue to organise unique shows, exciting contests, themed bonuses and prizes, and do everything else in our power to make sure every Dota 2 fan has an unforgettable time enjoying the tournament.” Dmitry Voshkarin, CEO of GG.BET said.

The online bookmaker will become a sponsor for the Regional Qualifiers, which will take place between September 3 and 17, the Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place between October 8 and 12, and the Group Stage, which will take place from October 15 to 18.

Additionally, GG.BET will collaborate with a wide range of sponsors and influencers to develop special content pertaining to the event that will begin today in Singapore. This content will include upcoming videos, predictions, reviews, as well as other content that will be made available to fans and spectators.

On September 2nd, Valve began selling the 2022 battle pass on September 2nd, giving fans the opportunity to donate to the prize pool at The International. At the time of this writing, the prize pool has a total value of over $5 million, and 25% of each transaction will be contributed to it.

PGL Events and GG.Bet have a long history of working together, and in April of this year, the two companies expanded their relationship, with GG.Bet in charge of handling the distribution of esports competitions for PGL. During that time period, the contract was finalized on the eve of the PGL Regional Major Rankings tournaments, which were held between April 11 and April 24.

This September’s announcement places GG.Bet in the spotlight once again with its collaborations, making it the third month in a row that it has done so. During the month of July, GG.Bet served as the event’s exclusive betting partner for the PGL Major Arlington 2022 competition. This marked the second major PGL event that GG.Bet was involved in during the Dota 2021C2022 season. It took place from the 11th to the 24th of April.

Given a number of compelling factors, GG.Bet is widely regarded as the leading frontrunner for the title of becoming Canada’s top esports betting brand. It has earned the confidence of several teams across a wide range of competitions, including major tournaments and multiple games.

Gen.G has earned the spot to compete in the 2022 League of Legends World Championship as the first team to qualify from Korea’s LCK. With their victory over Liiv SANDBOX yesterday in the semifinal round of the LCK Summer Playoffs.

In the series that was played yesterday, Gen.G had an early two-game lead over SANDBOX but ultimately failed to win the series after losing the third game of the series. The door was slammed shut on any possibility of a SANDBOX reverse sweep after Gen.G reacted with a dominating win in game four that took only 22 minutes to complete. This win did not come as a shock as the top Esport betting sites had them as $1.11 to win while Liiv SANDBOX were marked as major underdogs sitting at $7.10 to beat Gen.G

Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, a mid laner for Gen.G, completed the game with a total scoreline of 15/4/37, which was sufficient to achieve a KDA of 13.0 during the match. This was the highest KDA among all 10 players by a significant margin.

Gen.G secured a spot in the LCK championship match after claiming victory against SANDBOX in the semifinals of the tournament. Gen.G has earned suf?cient championship points to guarantee that they will not fall below the required threshold to meet the criteria for Worlds owing to their top-two finish in the Summer Split and their second-place finish in the Spring Split.

Most importantly, Gen. championship G’s point total guarantees that the team will not have to compete in either the LCK regional finals or the Worlds play-in stage.

The LCK team that finishes with the highest championship points at the end of the season will automatically qualify for the Worlds. If Gen.G was to lose the LCK championship match the following week, they would still complete the season with 170 championship points, which is higher than any other team in the league that would also attempt to qualify using their points.

During the LCK regional finals later this year, the teams that finished third through sixth in championship points will compete against one another for their final chance to qualify for Worlds.

Even though they were eliminated in the playoffs, Liiv SANDBOX will still have the opportunity to earn a spot on one of the four teams that the LCK will send to Worlds which will take place following the conclusion of the LCK grand finals.

The semifinal match between T1 and DWG KIA will take place today in the other half of the bracket for the playoff tournament. In the LCK grand finals, which are set to take place on August 28th, Gen.G will compete against the winner of that series. View all odds for the LCK Grand Finals here at GG.Bet.
