Danish rifler Frederik “?Fessor?” S?rensen has officially joined Endpoint after playing on the organization’s CS:GO squad as a stand-in since mid-February.

Endpoint announced the news on February 27 and posted a video of Fessor’s gameplay on their Twitter page, along with the news of the signing. Peter “Pete” Thompson, one of the team’s owners, also released a statement, revealing that he was excited to see what the former Astralis Talent player could do.

“Fessor was the natural choice for us as a replacement for NertZ. Level headed, raw talent and brings ideas to the table. We are excited to see what he can do with Endpoint!” Pete wrote.

With the move, Endpoint’s CS:GO lineup currently consists of Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath, Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, Mi?osz “mhL” Knasiak, Kia “Surreal” Man, and Fessor. Allan “Rejin” Petersen remains the head coach.

Fessor’s move to the official lineup comes 11 days after Guy “NertZ” Iluz and the British organization parted ways. Fessor played with the team as NertZ’s stand-in in the competitions that followed, giving a good enough performance that he was permanently placed on the lineup.

Fessor was with Endpoint during their two failed runs in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR open qualifiers. The rifler also played with them in several online competitions like the Elisa Invitational Winter 2023, the European Development Championship 7, and the BetBoom Playlist Urbanistic 2023. Since NertZ left on February 16, Fessor has produced a 1.14 impact rating with Endpoint.

In the past year, Fessor has also represented Astralis Talent and Monte. The player showed his mettle during his time on Astralis’ developmental roster, topping his team with an impressive 1.13 rating played over 112 maps before he left in August. The rating is 0.12 more than the second highest, Victor “?vigg0?” Bisgaard.

Fessor also performed well during his less than five months with Monte, averaging a rating of 1.14 across 72 maps. The player was a critical part of Monte’s promotion to the ESL Challenger League. Despite that impressive form, Fessor was removed from the active lineup and replaced by Viktor “?sdy?” Orudzhev.

Historically, Endpoint have struggled to hold onto their best players. This year has been no different, especially after NertZ left the team in favor of top-tiered esports organization ENCE.

While Fessor might not have stats as impressive as NertZ, the young player is already recognized on a global scale with a massive social media following and a sizeable upside.

In a surprise move, Ukrainian Counter Strike: Global Offensive franchise Monte has decided to place Frederik “Fessor” S?rensen on the inactive roster, just days before the team’s debut in the ESL Challenger League.

The 21-year old Dane had been a part of the Monte squad for four months, joining the team shortly after his departure from Astralis Talent. During his time with Monte, the team saw moderate success, including securing a spot in the Challenger League.

Despite putting up consistently strong individual performances for Monte, averaging a 1.14 rating across 72 maps and only performing poorly at one event out of the seven he competed in, the team has decided to place Frederik “Fessor” S?rensen on their inactive roster. This decision comes less than a week before Monte’s debut in the ESL Challenger League.

Fessor received some positive news prior to being moved to the inactive roster by Monte. He shared in a statement on social media that he had finally received the correct diagnosis and treatment from his doctors to alleviate the intense pain he had been experiencing in recent weeks. The rifler expressed his hope to return to competitive play within the next two weeks.

“Happy news, yesterday I got the right diagnosis from a doctor, who changed my medicine aswell. He said he hoped Ill be back in the game in max 2 weeks est. I never had so much pain in my entire life these past weeks, going from hospital to hospital,” Fessor said.

“Sad news is that I got benched from @Monte_Esports yesterday aswell, really disappointed because I felt we had an amazing year (2022), and achieved the goals we expected. We just qualified for ESL Challenger and I really wanted to play it this season.”

As of now, Monte has not revealed who will be filling in for Fessor in the roster. However, they have announced that they will be playing with Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev as a stand-in for their European Pro League Season 5 match scheduled for tomorrow. The current roster of Monte comprises Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletniuk, Sergiy “DemQQ” Demchenko, Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas, Szymon “kRaSnaL” Mrozek and coach Aidyn “KrizzeN” Turlybekov.

It remains to be seen what Monte’s long-term plans are for Fessor, but the team will have to move quickly to find a replacement if they hope to continue their success in the Challenger League. As for Fessor, he will be looking for offers from other teams as he seeks to continue his professional career.

Despite the disappointment of being benched, he can take comfort in the fact that he has put up solid numbers and has a good reputation in the industry. He will likely have no shortage of offers from other teams looking to add a talented rifler to their roster.

“I am thankful for the months we had together, and the memories we made. I wish them nothing but the best and gl in the next season,” Fessor said.

“Im open to all offers from EU/NA so please feel free to write me via DM or email [email protected].”
