ESL Gaming, a company that organizes competitive video gaming events, has formed a collaboration with the gaming hardware manufacturer ASUS and its Republic of Avid Gamers (ROG) business model.
As a result of this, the company will become the official OEM partner for the ESL Professional League Convention as well as the ESL Challenger events for the remainder of the year 2022.
Furthermore, it is expected that the alliance will feature many brand integrations, which will result in the appearance of the ASUS logo in various broadcasting parts. Throughout the events, ASUS will host its own stand where attendees will be able to learn more about the company’s diverse lineup of gaming laptops.
In the EPL Season 16 Conference, which features sixteen Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams competing for six spots in the upcoming season of the ESL Pro League, the hardware manufacturer joins the global giant Intel as the second partner of the event.
The agreement between ESL and ASUS covers all of the ESL Challengers contests that will take place at DreamHack events in Valencia, Melbourne, and Rotterdam during the months of July, September, and October, respectively.
In recent weeks, ESL has been successful in negotiating a broad array of agreements with a diverse assortment of gaming “hardware” manufacturers. In May, the competition organizer was successful in securing a partnership with the gaming brand Predator from Acer for the Dota 2 circuit. In addition, ESL collaborated with Lenovo Legion to host its Intel Extreme Masters event circuit.
Director of Partner Management at ESL Gaming spoke on the deal: “With ESL Challenger and EPL Conference’s addition to the ESL Pro Tour, we can truly offer aspiring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players a path from zero to hero.
“It is great to see an amazing brand like ASUS be devoted to the solid foundations needed for players to go pro. Therefore, we are super excited to have them on board as a partner and look forward to working with them.”
In addition to its partnership with ESL, ASUS was only just announced as the principal sponsor of the Pinnacle Cup Championship. Current sponsorship agreements with eNASCAR and the High School Esports League have been extended by the company throughout the course of the past year.
