On Thursday, BLAST announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players Richard “shox” Papillon, Audric “JACKZ” Jug, and Cédric “RpK” Guipouy would take part in its widely anticipated show match.
The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Grand Final is set to take place on May 21 and will see two of the top squads in the tournament face off against each other for the trophy. Before that, however, Paris Major spectators will watch a show match between two teams.
In a release, the tournament organizers, BLAST, shared the first update concerning the match, which revealed three of the expected players. shox, JACKZ, and RpK will represent the French national team and battle the BLAST Dream Team.
BLAST revealed that it would allow the BLAST Dream Team to be picked by registered BLAST.tv users via a voting system. The fans will also be allowed to select the Featured Rounds during the match. This includes “Blindfire Battle,” “It’s raining nades,” and “To the Moon.”
The rest of the French team will be announced close to the start of the Paris Major 2203 Show Match as well as the BLAST Dream Team players. The rosters will face off against each other in an interactive one-map battle.

The Paris Major 2203 Show Match will be held on Sunday, May 21, at 15:00 CET, after which the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 final will begin at 19:00 CET.
