Things are getting quite dire for Anyone’s Legend, who have yet to win a series this season, with an abysmal 2-10 map record. On Monday, Anyone’s Legend got obliterated by JD Gaming, who clocked in the fastest win of the year, needing just 19:48 to win the first map and just north of 24 minutes to seal the deal on the second map.
Rare Atom are 2-2, which isn’t perfect, but they’ve been playing well against lesser teams, including Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0) and LGD Gaming (2-1). They’re on a run of two losses ahead of this affair, with defeats against Top Esports and LNG Esports, but you can’t blame Rare Atom for losing against those teams.
Rare Atom have their issues and are a mid-tier team at best, but they’re still significantly better than Anyone’s Legend, who boast the league’s lowest kills/game (8.0), gold differential per minute (-277), gold per minute (1632), and K/D (0.57). Anything less than a 2-0 sweep won’t be an acceptable result for Rare Atom.

Top Esports are 3-1 with just one defeat, which came against Weibo Gaming (1-2) at the end of LPL 2023 Spring Week 2. They’ve since beaten Rare Atom and Ninjas in Pyjamas, which was expected, but TES needed three maps to make it past the league’s newcomers.
Losing against Ninjas in Pyjamas doesn’t sound too bad, but TES managed just six kills and no objectives on that map. Results like that don’t mean that TES are bad, but it confirms what we already know – Top Esports can and will slip occasionally.
Another slip-up from TES is exactly what Ultra Prime need to leave a mark here, as there is no way they can match Top Esports’ talent. But even if Top Esports underperform, Ultra Prime have yet to show anything exciting this season – they recently lost to ThunderTalk (1-2) and FunPlus Phoenix (1-2) and are one of two teams to drop a map against Anyone’s Legend.
Barring any surprises, this should be a quick 2-0 for Top Esports, so we don’t expect as many kills on the board. Take the under on the kill line.
