LoL Betting Odds: | HLE $1.44 at GG Bet | DRX $2.62 at GG Bet |

?DRX look like the worst team in the league, mainly because of their inability or unwillingness to adapt to the current meta. Instead they continue to force what worked for them during the LCK 2021 Spring: doing nothing and waiting for opponents to make a mistake. They’re still reasonably efficient in securing neutral objectives, but that has yet to earn them a win in six outings this season.
HLE’s are known to be a one-man team. Even last split, HLE’s success relied solely on the performances of their mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, and that has yet to change. Adding to that, HLE play a very fast-and-loose playstyle, which clearly isn’t working for them.
This is a fixture between two of the worst LCK teams with serious issues that can’t be fixed overnight. A bet on HLE is essentially betting on Chovy carrying his team to victory, and at this price, you can’t make a strong case for it. This might be DRX’s best chance to get their name on the board.
DRX to win
AFREECA FREECS vs LIIV SANDBOX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
LoL Betting Odds: | AF $1.71 at GG Bet | SANDBOX $2.17 at GG Bet |

?Liiv SANDBOX are 3-3 on the split with wins against Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and KT Rolster, as well as losses to Fredit BRION, Nongshim RedForce, and Gen.G. Although Liiv SANDBOX won only half of their games, it’s hard to be overly critical about their record.
Wins against HLE, T1, KT Rolster, and a three-map series (1-2) with Gen.G are all impressive results, proving Liiv SANDBOX have the talent to push for playoffs. Afreeca Freecs have been slightly more successful this split (4-2), albeit it would be hard to say that they’re a much stronger team.
Statistically, AF are better, but the eye test suggests that the gap isn’t as big as the latest LoL betting odds imply. There’s a chance this bout ends with all three maps played, but we like a moneyline bet on Liiv SANDBOX better.
